2. What this website does not do

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and embeds no third-party content such as Google Fonts, maps or videos. Fonts and images are served from our own server.

3. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you open a page, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data, in particular your IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested and details about your browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the website and protect it from attacks.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is delivering the website securely and quickly. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; a data processing agreement with Cloudflare is in place.

4. Request form

When you send us a request through the form, we process the details you enter (name, business and neighbourhood, email address or phone number, your message) to answer your request and make you an offer. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to entering a contract).

To deliver the form to our mailbox we use the service Web3Forms (web3forms.com). Your details are sent to Web3Forms and forwarded to us by email. Web3Forms may process data outside the EU. If you prefer not to use it, email us directly.

We delete your request once it has been dealt with and no statutory retention duties apply. If a contract follows, we keep the related records for as long as commercial and tax law require.

5. Email

When you email us, we process your message and contact details to reply. Our mailbox is run by Google (Google Workspace, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) (Art. 21). A short email to us is enough.

You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
